Natural Itch Relief
The first thing to do when treating this effectively is to find out the exact cause of the itch. One of the most common causes of itchy skin is sometimes psychological, which means that it is usually caused by stress or anxiety. Some times the skin also dries excessively due to the use of harsh soaps or cosmetics or lack of hydration.
You may also have a skin problem known as contact dermatitis. Contact dermatitis generally occurs when the skin comes on contact with a substance that irritates it .for example – a body lotion or the use of a towel that has been washed with a strong detergent or soap, or a bite form an insect or contact with a certain plant.
Sometimes even an allergy to food may cause your itching if this is what is causing it then you will have to keep a track of food that you have consumed recently and then eliminate each food item one at a time in order to see if you are allergic to any of them. To relive the itchiness you can use the gel of aloe Vera. The gel that is retrieved directly from the plant has anti inflammatory and antibacterial properties that help fight off allergic reactions. It also contains zinc, folic acid and vitamins which help keep the skin healthy.
