The best method to take care of whiteheads and blackheads, which are pretty similar in nature, would be to use natural astringent on your skin. Both whiteheads as well as blackheads are oil deposits that reside on the surface of the skin, they need to be dealt with in terms of oily skin. After you steam, use a hand towel to scrub your face gently and apply a thin layer of olive oil after about 20 minutes. Tea tree oil is best known for its anti-fungal and antiseptic properties. It is also very effective when applied topically to get rid of infections and skin problems.
