I have piles and suspect I have got threadworms, any suggestions as it causing a lot of distress

Commonly seen worm infestations are hook worm, thread worm, ascariasis, giardiasis, tape worm and amebiasis. Abdominal pain, anorexia, increased appetite, constipation, diarrhea, pica, anal itch, anemia and flatulence are common symptoms.

Avoid consumption of sweets and fried foods. A teaspoon of onion juice is helpful. About a teaspoon of margosa powder annihilates all kinds of worms. This is taken twice a day. Asafoetida is a resin and is consumed half an hour before meals. Personal hygiene is important. Washing your hands, especially after visiting the toilet, is essential. Trim your nails regularly. Use boiled water for drinking and eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits.

Try to avoid eating outside. About twenty grams of jaggery is eaten in an empty stomach, ten minutes after which two grams of celery is given with a gram of salt in warm water. This home remedy eliminates all kinds of worm infestation. A tablespoon of peeled and crushed pumpkin seeds are crushed and boiled in quarter liter of water. Cool and drink the water. A cup of grated carrot, prior to breakfast is effective, if eaten for 4-5 days. A tablespoon each of papaya juice and honey are taken in an empty stomach.
