Natural remedies to cure Cysts A cyst is a small bulb of fluid that sticks to the eyelid. While it may be caused due to many reasons, all cures target the same thing – dispersing the bulb and trying to prevent any chances of an infection. The first thing to remember is not to try and extract this yourself, as this could be extremely dangerous and could also, set in an infection.
However, since you have already done this, it would be advisable for you to get medical help in controlling the problem before it has any serious ramifications.
There are some basic steps that can be taken at home to avoid confounding the problem as well. Start taking care of your cyst by cleaning it at least five times a day with a mild soap.
If using soap irritates your eye, you can use a mild baby shampoo which uses the “no more tears” formula instead. Apply a warm compress to the eye. This may cause some amount of stinging, but try it thrice before you stop completely. If you decide that you cannot do this, try a cold compress. This should help relieve the pain and reduce the swelling. Wash your eyes with chilled, non-fat, organic milk. This will also help in cleansing them out. Apply honey to the eye. Honey is a natural healer and will help tremendously. Please do remember that it will sting quite a bit at first.
