Burn scar treatment

A scar is a mark left on the skin by the healing of injured tissue. Scars can be difficult to remove, and in some cases require grafting of fresh skin over the affected area. Two of the major scars symptoms are rashes on the skin and patchy skin.


However, there are some simple and effective home remedies to visibly lighten scars.

The following are some of the natural alternatives for burn scar:-

• Treat burn scars using papaya. The enzymes in papaya will help remove dead cells from the affected area.
• Apply mashed banana over the scars and wash it after 10 minutes. This will help lighten the scar.
• Crush a few mint leaves and tie it in a muslin cloth. Extract its juice and apply it over the scar. This will help in lightning the scar and removing blemishes.
• Cut a tomato in half, rub it on the skin, and then wash it after 10 minutes. This is not only effective in removing the burn scars but also helps in reducing the pain when applied over the burn.
• Rub raw garlic on the scar several times a day.
• Drink plenty of water to remove toxins from the body.
• Ensure that you eat a balanced diet, rich in Vitamin K.
• Include fresh fruits and leafy vegetables in your diet for a blemish-free, healthy skin.
