Lemon juice and milk are acidic and so they help to dissolve the uppermost later of your skin. Using this regularly will therefore help to reduce scars. Honey is rich in antioxidants and protects your skin from free radicals.
Since these are all natural products, the proportions do not have to be exact. However, if you have oily skin it would be advisable that you use a little extra lemon juice, less milk and almond oil. On the other hand if you have dry skin you can use extra almond oil and milk and cut down on the lemon juice. Milk contains fatty acids that help your skin to retain moisture. It is also very nourishing. You can use honey and milk as your base and add a few drops of the other ingredients and mix it thoroughly. Wash your face with lukewarm water and then apply this mixture. Leave it on for at least thirty minutes before washing it off with warm (not hot) water. Follow this routine at least thrice a week or more if possible.
You can also use a natural, non-abrasive face scrub made out of potato juice, gram flour and sugar. This will help to reduce scarring and soften your skin.
