Vitiligo is also known as leucoderma or white skin. White patches on skin can be seen due to loss of pigments. It is not contagious.
Few remedies for vitiligo - - Apply a mixture of basil juice and lime juice or honey on the area.
- Paste made of basil leaves and few cloves of garlic has to be applied on the affected region.
- Eating 4-5 basil leaves 3 times a day is very helpful.
- Red clay near a river is most effective if you can get it. Add it to ginger juice in equal proportion and apply on patches once in a day.
- Make a powder of radish seeds. Add some powder to 2 tsp. of vinegar and apply it on the area.
- Aloe vera is also very effective. Apply it directly on the vitiligo spots
- Proper diet is also essential. Try a 2 weeks fruit fasting diet. Eat only fruits; you may include all types of fruits. After two weeks of fasting start a restricted diet that includes vegetables, grains along with fruits.
- Avoid alcohol, fried foods, white flour products, sugar and preserved food.
- Colon cleaning during the diet plan is must. Use of warm water enema is good.
