Home remedies for athlete's foot
Apply undiluted tea tree oil on the affected area. If it stings then you can dilute it by adding some oil like vegetable oil etc.
Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar or white vinegar and dab on your foot 2 to 3 times daily. Continue this for twice a day in the morning and at night even after it has been cured so as to prevent the fungus from reappearing.
Or add half a cup of vinegar in a bucket half full of water and soak your feet in it for 10 to 15 minutes 2 times a day.
After washing your feet dry them with a hair dryer and dust with cornstarch powder. You can also sprinkle some powder in your shoes before wearing it.
In half a cup of rubbing alcohol, add 5 aspirin tablets and massage your feet with it 2 times everyday after getting up in the morning and before retiring to bed.
You can also wash your feet with diluted Listerine mouthwash.
Wear cotton socks and wash them everyday. Discard worn out socks and keep extra pairs with you. Wear slippers at home and if possible wear sandals while going out for a while.
