Advice on pain down right leg

I get a pain down my right leg when I'm ovulating and menstruating. I've looked into sciatica, but I don't fit the mold. Can you help me?

It does make a difference if you have a pain down the front or the back of your leg. I've had several women patients who complain of leg pains which have a hormonal pattern. You may have a fibroid which creates nerve pressure. There are several botanical and homeopathic remedies which may be helpful in rebalancing your endocrine system if a fibroid is the issue. An ultra-sound is the best way to determine if this is the cause of your monthly pains.

In a wider sense you do most likely have sciatica, which is not a clear defined condition. Because most people have Misalignment in the Sacrum and Lumbar area it is a very common ailment. Sooner or later we experience Back Pain or the symptoms you are describing.

It seems that the catalyst in your case is the menstruation and ovulation, a hormonal change that triggers the problem. If your sacrum and spine where in proper alignment then possibly you would not suffer because the co-factors mens. and ovul. are altering the energy flow and since your muscles are not relaxed them cause the problems.
