How to treat baby eczema?



Eczema in babies or infants is very irritating for babies. Eczema may be due to wrong choice of baby soaps, oils. Frequent use of cloths other then cotton also a cause. Giving long bath to a baby is also not good for babies. This also may cause eczema. If your child is allergic to any type of food then also it invites eczema.

There are many home cures for baby eczema:-

  • Keep baby clean and dry, use good cotton cloths, sprinkle good herbal powder on body, avoid using excess powder, use good ayurvedic oil for massage.

Some home remedies for baby eczema are-

  • Add margosa leaves in the bath water. Take warm water for bath.
  • Oatmeal bath is also beneficial. Make a paste of oatmeal and add it to warm bath water. Stir well. Give a bath with this water. Rinse with clean warm water. Dry your baby.
  • Applying aloe vera gel on affected area is beneficial.
  • Paste of sandalwood powder with camphor on area is also good.
  • Applying simple coconut oil on area also helps.
