Is it true that a combination of honey and cider vinegar is cure for stomach problems.

Yes apple cider vinegar and honey drink is an excellent remedy used since ages which has numerous benefits including stomach problems like heart burn or food poisoning. But how does it actually work? Lifestyle changes and change in food habit (consuming more of fast foods, refined/processed foods and starches) moves the pH of a person to the acidic side. An acidic body can flourish diseases easily and on the other hand an alkaline body tends to fight with the infections and diseases more boldly.

Apple cider vinegar is alkaline in nature and can help to correct excess acidity in the body thereby prevent infections and diseases. When honey is added to the vinegar it becomes more palatable and enjoyable, moreover unprocessed raw honey is also classified as an alkaline food. Dissolve a tablespoon of fresh organic apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of raw honey in a glass of cold water and drink this twice daily. Do not use other commercially distilled vinegars as they may not have the potent array of nutrients like sodium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorous, iron, copper, sulfur, chlorine, pectin and malic acids. Besides stomach problems apple cider vinegar and honey is also considered beneficial for conditions like obesity, premature ageing, heat exhaustion, arthritis, rheumatism, bad breath and brittle nails.
