Green Hickory Nuts and Skin Problems

Since skin problems are of many types and can be caused by a number of different factors, it is hard to judge which ones in particular you are looking for information on. Most skin ailments would find their most effective cures when their root causes have been established and any underlying medical condition, if any, has been treated. To elaborate, most skin conditions are merely a symptom of an underlying medical condition, which will need to be treated directly in order to cure the skin problem. Solely treating the skin condition may cause the medical ailment to get even worse and also result in the skin ailment reoccurring rather frequently over a period of time. It is also important to remember that the term ‘skin problems’ can mean very different things to two different individuals. For example, while some people may consider wrinkling of the skin a natural course of old age or a natural impact of environment conditions, others may see it as a skin problem that is unnatural and needs to be treated on priority. Acne is one of the most common skin problems and affects almost every individual in or around their teenage years. While most people will normally outgrow their acne problems, some might experience an outbreak well into their 40s and 50s. Women are especially prone to acne till the later years of their lives.

While there are no well known home remedies to treat skin problems that call for the use of green hickory nuts, there are a number of other very effective options that are simple to use and easy to prepare, as they make use of readily available natural ingredients. For example, if you are worried about the complexion as well as health of the skin on your face, you could create a face mask by mashing a little fresh cream into an overripe banana. Once the mixture has turned into a soft pulp, add a few strands of saffron to it and leave it to ferment over the course of the night. The next morning, apply a rather generously thick layer of the pulp over your face and leave it to dry before washing it off with cold water. Bananas also have the very significant advantage of being able to kill infections as well as increasing the efficiency of the healing process in skin scar tissues. If sunburns are the problem you face, you could try rubbing a little buttermilk over the affected areas and allow it to dry before you wash it off.

There is no specific home remedy that uses hickory nuts to cure any kind of skin problems. The hickory nut, a relative of the pecan nut, is native to North America and is smaller than the pecan. Edible hickory nuts come from only specific species of the hickory tree known as the shag bark and the shell bark hickory trees. These nuts are usually used in cooking and baking and are more prized for their flavor and taste than the pecan nuts. Hickory nuts are also a source of mono-unsaturated fat and of protein.

You have not described your symptoms further but if you have dry skin then you should ensure that nuts form a part of your diet because they contain oils that are beneficial for dry skin. You can also apply oils like peanut oil topically to relieve dry skin. In addition, nuts like Brazil nut are used as an essential ingredient in body and face scrubs. These scrubs clean the pores and get rid of all the dead skin. There are a number of other things that you can do to rehydrate your skin such as keeping your skin properly moisturized using a cream-based moisturizing agent. You should also ensure that you wear loose, cotton clothing so that your skin can breathe.
