Pubic lice are found mainly in the hair of pubic region; however they can be present on other body hairs.
- Apply tea tree oil or margosa oil on the affected area. They act as anti-infecting agents and help to get rid of the lice.
- Maintain appropriate personal hygiene and make sure to use a condom while having a sexual act. Avoid touching or scratching the area with lice.
- Pubic lice are generally transmitted sexually, but a person can also get infected from infested towels, clothing or bedding. So avoid sharing your clothes bed sheets or towels with others to avid its spread.
