Causes of bi-weekly periods without spotting

It is unclear what you mean when you say bi-weekly periods. It could refer to either periods once in two weeks or periods twice a week. Since the latter sounds highly improbable, we can choose the former option. If you are having periods once in two weeks, this could very well be a cause for concern. It is not advisable for you to try and do anything about it at home. A better idea is to visit your regular gynecologist or obstetrician and get this problem diagnosed. While the chances of it being something serious or problematic are rare, that would still be a probability which you cannot ignore. One thing you can do at home is check to see if there have been any changes in your lifestyle or body that have occurred in the recent past. If so, then you need to take those into consideration as well. If you have suddenly put on weight, or if your lifestyle has suddenly become hectic with extremely high levels of stress, then this will make a major difference to the way your body reacts in terms of fertility cycles. Even if this is the case, you would still need a medical consultation. It would help to mention all of this to your doctor.

The only way you can help the situation, if it is problematic is to follow a routine of strict diet and exercise. Streamline your life as well as your body, such that you keep both in order and you will be happy with the way results appear. Check your diet so that you are not eating excessively fatty food. This has a strong possibility of putting your weight gain out of control and thus making a difference to your menstrual cycle. You should also start the practice of taking a glass of hot water with a teaspoon of honey added to it first thing in the morning. Do this even before you Brush your teeth for most effective results. If you do not have a problem with it, add a squeeze of lime juice to it as well. This practice will hold you in good stead for the rest of your life. It helps to cleanse your system, maintain weight and keep the body in great condition. The inner workings of the body will also get automatically streamlined without you having to do anything specific. Of course this will take a lot of time, so you need to be patient.
