Feels like a burp is stuck and hurts in my chest when I swallow nose is running and pain varies

This is a rather odd and confusing set of symptoms, making it difficult to form any clear diagnosis. It is advisable that you consult a doctor for your problem, as it will be difficult to diagnose or treat without a personal consultation. A physical examination, along with thorough investigation of your symptoms and possibly your medical history too, is the only way to identify the cause of such symptoms. Most probably you are suffering from some sort of post nasal drip and a throat infection, or some combination or variation of the two. If this is a recent development, you could wait for a few days and try some home remedies before visiting a doctor. For the runny nose, the only thing you can do is help it drain and clear up naturally. For this, you need to drink plenty of water, so that your nasal secretions are fluid and are able to drain. This might seem like something that will worsen your problem, but it is only temporary. If the nasal fluids are able to drain properly, they will clear up more quickly, and you will have to suffer the runny nose for a shorter duration of time. Steam inhalation might also help you – either run a hot shower in your bathroom and step in once the room has filled up with steam, or else fill a basin with hot water, and inhale the steam from it. If you use a basin, you can even add some eucalyptus oil to the water. This is the best treatment for nasal congestion, but it is also helpful for a runny nose.

For your throat, the best thing will be to gargle with warm salt water several times a day. Ensure that the water is not too hot, or you will burn your tongue and throat, and only make things worse. You can also have some honey mixed with ginger juice and lemon juice first thing in the morning and just before you go to bed. You need only a few drops of ginger juice for this. If you still find the taste too strong, you can add all three ingredients to a glass of warm water, and drink this concoction. These measures could ease your symptoms within a few days. However, if the symptoms continue, or if they have already persisted for over a week, you should visit a doctor immediately.
