Honey is also a very effective way to reduce the dark spots on your skin. All you have to do is to spread some honey on the dark spots and leave it there. You can wash if off after about fifteen minutes. Regular application of honey will help your skin look clear and become smooth. A paste made by mixing baking powder with some water can also be applied on the spots on your face. You can also apply Vitamin E oil on your spots. This can be applied at bedtime and you can keep it on all night. Similarly Aloe Vera gel too can be applied last thing in the night and kept on overnight so that it gets more time to work on your skin.

You can use the juice extracted from mint leaves on the spots. A puree made of ripe red tomatoes also works well to reduce the spots and make your face blemish free. Carrots too can be used to effectively reduce the spots on your skin. You can grate and cook a carrot in boiling water. Throw away the water and then mash the cooked carrot. This mashed carrot can be applied on the face. When left on for half an hour this face mask works wonders and when applied regularly helps reduce the spots.
