Advice on external hemorrhoids and discomfort while passing stools

What happens when you suffer from hemorrhoids is that a vein in your anal area is enlarged and causes pain. The reasons for the enlargement of this vein are usually to constipation. When you are constipated you exert a lot of pressure in your attempt to pass feces. This can cause the vein to enlarge and when you continue putting pressure this often leads to bleeding. Of course, if you stop using pressure to pass feces, naturally enough the bleeding will stop. However, in order to do this you will have to make several changes to your lifestyle and to your eating habits. If your bleeding continues, you should consult a doctor.

When you are suffering pain, you should fill a tub with warm water and sit in this for fifteen minutes. Warm water helps to relax the muscles and make it easier to pass feces. You should also completely stop eating food that contains white flour and sugar. These food products do not contain any fiber and when you are constipated it is absolutely essential that you eat plenty of fiber. You should drink soups made with all kinds of vegetables. Instead of your regular cups of tea and coffee you should drink large quantities of water, fruit juices and  buttermilk.
