Chronic rheumatism is a disorder of the joints. It produces a thickening and contraction of fibrous structures and can be quite painful. It may interfere with motion and cause significant disability.

Some known natural remedies for chronic rheumatism are:

  • You can grind up a few green stalks of rhubarb with equal quantities of sugar and consume 3-4 teaspoonfuls every day.
  • Walnuts are also said to be of benefit in rheumatism, but should be chewed thoroughly before swallowing.
