Diet for Tremors

Diet for tremors is mainly aimed at reducing inflammation. This is because chronic inflammation is often regarded as the main cause of several diseases such as Parkinson’s that could in turn give rise to tremors. An anti-inflammatory diet will boost your immunity and reduce the risk of inflammation. To do this you should:

  • Increase your intake of foods rich in antioxidants such as fruits, vegetable, and whole grains.
  • Eat fish such as salmon, flax seeds or walnuts to increase your supply of omega 3 fatty acids.
  • Foods with a low glycemic index are also highly recommended to keep a tab on your blood sugar levels. These include whole grain pastas and breads, oats, vegetables, and fruits.
  • Eat foods high in fiber and drink a minimum of ten glasses of water a day to prevent constipation.
  • Avoid caffeine and over processed foods to reduce the toxins in the body.
