Home Cure for Itching from Scabies
Scabies is a parasitic infection that results in a persistent, itchy rash. These rashes are sometimes very irritating. You can actually relieve this itchiness through the below mentioned home remedies:
- Aloe Vera is the queen of herbs having bundle of medicinal values.
Topical application of aloe vera gel on the affected area can relieve itching sensation and heal scabies. - Goldenseal or teat tree oil can also be used fro getting rid of the itchy rashes on the skin.
- Extract fresh juice of apricot leaves and apply over the infected area to treat scabies.
- Herbs such as black walnut, wormwood and garlic are beneficial for fighting parasitic infection.
- Prepare a paste of margosa leaf, turmeric powder and mustard oil. Apply this paste all over your body and leave it for about one hour.
- Grind the dried bark of a peepul tree into a powdered form. Dust the powder on the infected area and on the lesions.
- Extract juice from drumstick leaves and mix with sesame seed oil. Add this to boiling water and boil until the water evaporates. This will form a paste that can be applied on the lesions for faster recovery.
- Apply lotions or creams that contain gamma benzene hexachloride or sulfur.
