  • Avoid going out from 10 a.m. in the morning to 3 p.m. in the afternoon. This is because; the sun is most harmful during this time. During this period the sun can cause some of the following conditions: sun burns, sun strokes, severe headaches and nausea.
  • You can also protect your self from the harmful rays of the sun by wearing long sleeved shirts and full length pants. Wearing a cap or hat would provide you with additional protection.
  • If you like wearing T shirts and shorts, or strapless dresses, you can apply a sun screen lotion that has a sun protection value of 40 or more. Sun Screen lotions are a very effective way of protecting the skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun.
  • While swimming make sure you apply a water proof sun screen lotion, as normal sun screen lotions do not protect the body in water.

If you want glowing and radiant skin, following all the above suggestions would help you to a great extent. In addition you would need to supplement your diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, as the body gets its nutrients from these. Avoiding harmful habits like smoking, drinking alcohol and eating junk foods will also help you attain the same.
