The gall bladder is a small, pear-shaped organ seen under the liver, storing the bile produced by the liver, and then releasing it as needed in the digestive process. People suffering from gall bladder disease should follow a low fat-diet for healthy living. The bile from the gall bladder is necessary for proper digestion of fats.

When enough bile is not produced by the gall bladder, fat from food cannot be properly digested and results in diarrhea.Delayed stomach emptying (Gastroparesis) is a condition in which the stomach empties food into the intestine too slowly. This can cause bloating, nausea, and even vomiting.

Normally, fat in foods delays stomach emptying, so fats make gastroparesis worse.

- Avoid large meals especially during bed time

- Add more vegetables and fruits to your diet for fiber.

- Avoid carbonated drinks as they can trigger the movement of gall stones (if any!) causing more pain.

- Substitute your salad dressings with vinegar and olive oil

- Do not go in for binge diets. Slow, steady weight loss is essential for a healthy body.
