Natural cures for hair fall problem

Hair fall can be one of the most disturbing conditions as the hair plays such a prominent role in the overall aesthetic appeal of an individual. While the hair is of no real medical significance, hair loss can still be very disturbing and seeing your hair fall out in large chunks whenever you run a brush through your hair can be very alarming. The hair growth and loss patterns are significantly decided by the hormones within the body. The male hormone, testosterone, will govern the development of body hair, the beard and the armpits while the female hormone – estrogen will usually curtail the development of hair in most of these areas. Men will usually experience hair loss as a result of heredity where the condition has been passed down from one generation to another. Women may tend to experience hair loss whenever there is a change in their hormone levels. This is quite a frequent occurrence and will take place just before menstruation and childbirth. Other factors that influence hair loss include a faulty diet and stress. Excessive usage of hair care appliances such as hair dryers and blow dryers puts the exposed hair shaft under excessive temperatures, usually causing a significant amount of destruction of hair cells. As a result, due to continued usage of these instruments, the hair shaft becomes weak and will tend to break off.

Any treatment options when dealing with hair will primarily be focused on getting your hair to reach a level of health where it can be further effectively treated. One of the most effective ways of repairing any damage to the hair would be to apply a hot oil treatment. You can do this by simply heating up some amount of coconut oil and massaging it into the scalp thoroughly. Once done, wrap a warm towel over your hair and leave it on for a few hours. The heat from the towel will activate the healing properties of the oil. Once done, wash your hair with the help of some water at normal temperature. Repeating this frequently for a couple of weeks will prove to be very effective. Once this has been accomplished, you can administer a number of treatments that will prevent loss of hair. For example, you could try massaging a mixture of honey and egg yolk into your scalp and hair and leave it on your head for about ½ an hour. You could also try creating a paste by mixing some olive oil, honey and cinnamon powder and massage it on the scalp for about 15 minutes before you wash it of with the help of a mild shampoo.
