How to get rid of dry, flaky, peeling skin from the sole and heel of your feet

The skin on your feet becomes dry, flaky and starts to peel due to changes in the climate or more significantly because of natural exfoliation or expulsion of dead skin from the surface of your body. If you are not in the habit of wearing closed shoes or socks and if your feet are exposed to dry weather or extreme temperatures, the skin on them tends to become dry and peels as a consequence. When you are exposed to extreme climates and your water intake reduces the skin of your feet or other parts of your body may become dehydrated and dry as a consequence. It is therefore important to increase your intake of water and other essential fluids to keep your skin hydrated. You can do this by making sure to moisturize your feet everyday after a bath so that your skin retains moisture. A simple home made moisturizer could be prepared with four tablespoons of distilled water, a few drops of coconut oil, avocado oil and olive oil.
