Remedy to regain natural lip color back



Dry weather can cause chapped lips besides other causes such as: Lip biting and sucking, Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) deficiency. Other causes are ill fitting dentures and overexposure to the sun which don't seem to be the cause in your case. Smoking can surely cause lip discoloration and stained teeth among other sufferings.

Some tips you can follow to regain your natural lip color:

  • Apply either lip balm or petroleum jelly or vitamin E oil or aloe vera gel. The idea is to you're your lips moist with these greasy products.
  • If you are going out, use lip balm which contains sunblock.
  • It is a good idea to use a humidifier to moisten the air in your home.
  • If you have cracks at the corner of your mouth, you are likely to have Vitamin B2 deficiency, hence taking Vitamin B2 supplements will help. Consume foods rich in vitamin B2 namely Milk, organ meats such as liver, kidney and eggs. Some vegetables and fruits provide a small but constant supply.
