Agnus castus helps to balance the estrogen, which interferes with normal thyroid functions by supporting the pituitary gland. Estrogen levels are balanced by black cohosh and hence it is considered useful in thyroid conditions. Bladderwrack has a high content of iodine and is good for hypothyroidism.
