Is there any way to get my 15 month old to sleep better?

If you notice that your baby is waking up late in the morning because he/she is awake till late in the night then the best way to help the baby sleep better is to wake him up at an earlier hour each day, so that he/she can sleep better at night. If your baby has to sleep during the day; have the baby sleep in an area that is well lit. This helps the baby take shorter naps during the day and does not disturb the sleeping hours at night. Nurse your baby in a dark room that is quiet, this will help calm the bay down. Allow the baby to sleep during the day for a short while as well. Avoid the overuse of a pacifier instead nurse your baby regularly during the day on order for her/him to sleep well during the night.

Carrying and rocking your baby will also do wonders for relaxing him. Do this during the late evening hours as it will help the baby relax and make it easier for the baby to fall asleep. During the evening do not allow the baby to get over active, as it makes it harder for the child to fall asleep. Giving the baby a bath sometime before going to bed will also help calm him/her down. Avoid changing the diapers at night, this will help the continuity of the habit of only sleeping at night and thus help the baby sleep better.
