Treatment for swollen red eyes



Eyes around the skin are sensitive and full of blood vessels. The major causes of swollen and red eyes are fluid retention, stress, hormone changes, allergies and lack of sleep.   • Wash your face well with ice cold water
  • Limit your consumption of sodium rich foods.

  • Cut cucumber into slices and place them on your eyes for few minutes.
  • Take two bags, wet them in cold water and then place in a refrigerator for few hours. Once the tea bags are chilled take them out of the refrigerator and place on closed eyelids for several minutes.
  • If the cause of swollen eye is food allergy, monitor your diet and check which food causes allergy. Restrict intake of the allergic food.
  • You can also go for an antiseptic soothing cream.
