I am 21 years old female. I have been facing anemea since long. But from the past one week my skin has become yellow in color. Is the yellow color due to Anemea. How can I cure it?

Anaemia refers to the condition in which there is a decrease in the number of red blood cells. Some of the symptoms of Anaemia are fatigue, shortness of breath, sore mouth and tongue, dull and tired looking eyes, and yellow skin color. To reduce the effects of anaemia, you can try the following home remedies:

  • Increase your intake of Vitamin B 12 rich foods; drink beet juice regularly as it helps in the formation of red blood cells; eat fresh fruits and leafy vegetables that are rich in iron; consume honey daily to build haemoglobin in the body; eat 2 apples daily to increase the iron content in the body; take cold-water bath; avoid tea and coffee as it hinders in iron absorption.

It is important to note that yellow skin is a serious symptom that requires immediate diagnosis. There are various medical conditions that cause yellow skin. Some of the possible causes for yellow skin are jaundice, abdominal cancer, carotenemia, uremia, chronic hepatitis C, and chronic kidney diseases. In addition to the above medical conditions, there are various drugs that can cause the change in the color of the skin. To determine the real cause of the problem, it is essential to talk to your doctor about your symptoms and then follow a treatment process.
