Natural treatment for Myopia
  • Take ½ tsp of the powdered root of the herb Liquorice and mix an equal amount of honey to it. Add ¼ tsp of pure clarified butter to this mixture and make a uniform paste. Take this 2 times a day with milk on an empty stomach.

  • Make a decoction of the Ayurvedic preparation called Triphala, which is a mixture of Belleric Myroblan, Embelica Myroblan and Chebulic myroblan, by mixing 30gm of it in ½ liter of water and drinking it. You can also wash your eyes with this solution 2 times a day for around 4 to5 months.
  • The herb Chicory also contains vitamin A which is beneficial for the eyes.

Mix 75 ml of parsley juice, 150 ml of celery juice and 200 ml of carrot juice to 75 ml of chicory juice and drink it once everyday. This supplies nourishment to the optic and muscular system. If this mixture is taken daily then the eye problems will be corrected and the need to wear spectacles might be rendered unnecessary.
  • Have foods rich in vitamin A like raw spinach, milk cream, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, green peas, Soya beans, turnip tops, dates and carrots.
  • Eat a fiber rich diet and avoid jams, white sugar, white bread, confectionery, cakes and pastries.
