Food poisoning advice If the sauce had been putrefying for a while before consumption, you stand a chance of an infection sometime soon. If not the body would have eliminated the sauce a long while ago. To counteract any symptoms you may have, its best to take preventive measures. Make a powder from a quarter teaspoon of cardamom seeds and boil this freshly ground powder in tea made from black tea leaves. The black tea prepared should be weak and should just about have enough tea to impart a slightly peasant aroma. Add a pinch of sugar to this tea with cardamom powder and drink when slightly cooled.
The extraction of Turmeric rhizome is a well known antiseptic agent and has amazing curative properties. Whether consumed as a fine powder or in its raw form as tender shoot, its healing abilities are far reaching and varied. It is also known to be a gastric stimulant and an effective tonic. The juice or powder from Turmeric can be added in plain water or buttermilk and had thrice a day.
Barley water, coconut juice, rice gruel will help the body to replenish lost salts and minerals. Barley water is also known to be a good stomach cleanser and also helps bind the stools. Do not consume solid foods during an attack of food poisoning. Drink plenty of warm liquids to help the body eliminate the toxins. Carrot soup is also strengthening and has excellent properties in rejuvenating the stomach and fighting the infection.
