The following are the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

The causes of CFS are fairly unknown; however it has been connected to infections that affect the immune system. There have been viruses that were studied to correlate them to CFS but no direct relationship has been found. There are a few cases where Chlamydia pneumonia, a bacteria that causes Pneumonia, is known to be the cause for CFS. In these cases, consuming antibiotics kills the bacteria and brings health back to normal. Nevertheless, this very rare and has not been established as a ground rule.

There are a few things that one can do at home to counter Chronic fatigue syndrome. One must do regular and comfortable physical activity. This does not mean one sweats it out in the gym. One must avoid all kinds of strenuous activity. You can either do simple exercises or just walk a little every day. One must also try to avoid emotional stress. Often, people counter physical fatigue but then relapse due to emotional stress. Try to distract yourself with a hobby or some entertainment. Total rest is not recommended and must be avoided. It is important that you go about your daily activities normally. Taking a day or two off is alright; however, one should not make this a  habit. This is because total rest brings physical activity to a halt and this is where one starts thinking overtime. Try to reduce consumption of Alcohol and Caffeine.

Try out these remedies at home. However, if there is no marked improvement, consult your doctor.
