Reiki is when 'Gods Wisdom or Higher Power' and 'life force energy' combine together and form a single power. It is an old Japanese belief that when a person lacks in life force energy he is most likely to fall sick, than the person who does not lack in such energy.

For e.g. Cho Ku Rei, is the power symbol, which the practitioner uses to heal at the beginning. He initially collects the power of this symbol in his hands before starting to treat the patient.
Sei Hei Ki is an emotional symbol which is known as an Emotional Symbol. The symbol is used to remove an emotional over burdening in a patient.
The third symbol is Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, it is known as jewel of understanding Reiki, this symbol is known to have the power of traveling without any hindrance between time and space.
Usui Master's Dai Ko Mo, which is used to connect a patient with his potential so that he gets success, it is also known to heal any lack of spiritualism in a patient to get him attuned to his normal being.
Reiki healing is mostly to make a patient feel and live a better life than he is. Reiki helps a person establish a harmony between his personal and spiritual self. These Reiki symbols are also known as the secret weapons of Reiki, these are also considered highly sacred. Reiki attunement does not teach symbols initially, it starts off with teaching powers of symbols than teaching symbols themselves.
