I have burning problem in my knees and also severe pain please help?

The knee is an important joint in each leg which helps with the process of movement and running. The knee is the point where the thigh and the calf meet. The entire weight of the body is transported and supported on these two joints. The knee joint also has a plate in the front of it that is designed to protect the moving parts of the joint from injury. The knee joint is important in absorbing shocks that are passed to it from the feet. Most of the energy from these shocks dissipates in the knee and does not travel up the leg. The knee joint is therefore very important for the body. It is also a joint that tends to be susceptible to injury because of the amount of movement, stress and shock that it faces on a daily basis. Sporting injuries of the knee are commonplace these days.

The bursa is a sac that contains fluid that lubricates the joint and allows it to move freely. The bursa also absorbs a lot of the shock received in the joint because the fluid within it acts as a shock absorber. Burning knee pain has been associated with an inflammation of the bursa. This means that the part of the knee joint that contains fluid gets inflamed. When this happens, the individual will experience burning knee pain. This type of burning knee pain may be a result of some prolonged damage taking place in the knee joint. This problem may also be caused by some injury that has taken place. Injuries that cause burning sensation in the knee include running, jumping and banging the knee into a hard obstacle. Long term damage can cause burning sensation in the knee. This type of damage occurs as a result of climbing stairs, poor posture and performing tasks that require additional weight and pressure to be placed on the knee. These tasks include kneeling down and scrubbing of floors.

In order to treat knee pains it is necessary to know exactly what causes knee pain. There are some actions that one can avoid as part of the treatment for knee pain. Any activity that causes knee pain should be stopped immediately. Individuals should wear softly padded shoes as this will minimize the jarring effect of walking on the knee. When suffering from burning knee pain, one should not perform any running exercises or any exercises that involve the movement of the knee. However, individuals with burning knee pain should try and walk every once in a while so that the joint does not become stiff. Any task that involves kneeling should be done on a softened surface rather than on hard floors. Knee pads may be necessary for this. Naturally, an individual suffering from burning sensation in the knee should visit a doctor to help understand the underlying cause of the problem.

There are some home remedies for knee pain that can be used to reduce the pain and alleviate some of the symptoms. Burning knee pain is associated with an inflammation. Therefore, an individual can use pineapple or ginger as an effective home remedy for knee pain. These items can be consumed orally and may help to reduce the inflammation in the body. This type of remedy is a long term remedy that should be used in conjunction with other methods to help alleviate the pain. Turmeric is another effective anti-inflammatory food and can be used to aid the individual. Based on the judgment of the doctor in charge, one may also use treatment which is based on heat or cold applied to the joint. Usually, cold will help with the pain, but this is really up to the doctor.
