I am 23 year old after delivery my total body is very dry. Please advise me some home remedies?

Pregnancy tends to result in many changes in the body of a woman. In most cases the body changes during pregnancy tend to disappear on their own in due course of time after the birth of the child. One of the body changes during pregnancy is a growth in the uterus of the mother which has to accommodate the growing baby. Similarly during pregnancy the amount of vaginal discharge will also increase in the form of a whitish or clear fluid. This discharge is considered to be normal in most cases; however if the discharge has a weird smell or color or is blood tinged then the same should be reported to the doctor immediately. Another one of the commonly observed physical changes during pregnancy is the enlargement of the woman’s breast which is mainly because of the hormone estrogen. This hormone basically prepares the breasts for production of milk by gradually increasing the number of the glands that are responsible for producing milk. Some women are also known to report that their breasts feel tender and firm during pregnancy.

In order to handle these physical changes during pregnancy in ones breasts, one should wear a bra that provides good support to the breasts and one that fits properly as well. Another one of the physical changes during pregnancy is the working of the heart in a much harder manner than before the pregnancy because as the fetus grows the heart is required to pump even more blood to the uterus.  Physical changes during pregnancy also include swelling of the feet and hands of the woman on account of the increased flow of blood which is known to cause discomfort at times. In such cases, women should wear clothing that is not very tight around the waist and they should also ensure that their legs are comfortable so as to not inadvertently restrict the flow of blood. One should also as far as possible try and rest with the legs elevated as far as possible.

Many women are also known to suffer from indigestion and heartburn during pregnancy and hence they are required to pay special attention to their nutrition during pregnancy. This could be done by consuming foods that are not very oily or fatty and are low in sodium. Additionally, pregnant women should also avoid the consumption of tobacco, caffeine, alcohol and so on as they may have an adverse effect on both the mother and the baby. While planning their nutrition during pregnancy, pregnant women should ensure that they incorporate plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables which are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They should also drink plenty of water to remain hydrated during the pregnancy.

In fact the diet after delivery should also include such nutritious foods as for the initial few months the baby may be solely dependent on the mother’s milk for its nutrition and this milk that is rich in minerals and nutrients and antioxidants also plays a vital role in the growth and development of the baby. Some women are also known to observe changes in their body after pregnancy. They may even experience after pains mostly during the initial three days post delivery. In fact these after pains which are similar to contraction are more commonly experienced at the time of breastfeeding because of the hormone oxytocin that is released by the sucking action of the baby on the mother’s nipple. Physical changes after pregnancy may also include some amount of discharge or bleeding from the vagina for a period of almost 6 weeks post the birth of the baby. This mostly occurs on account of the uterus shedding and then renewing its lining.
