WHAT SHOULD I DO FOR A BEE STING. CHILD 9 YEARS OLD. STINGER IS OUT BUT HARD AND HOT AROUND THE AREA. SOME PAIN.

When you suffer a bee sting, the first thing to do is to remove the stinger. This will restrict the amount of venom that enters the body. You can either scrape or pull the stinger out. Then clean the area with soap and water. You can also use any of several home remedies for bee stings to relieve the pain and other symptoms such as swelling that normally occurs in the stung area.

  • Sprinkle some baking soda over the bite and then add a few drops of vinegar over it. Allow it to remain on the skin until the pain goes away.

  • Onion and garlic are known to be effective cures for bites and stings. Cut a small piece of onion and place over the sting area. You can also place some crushed garlic, add a couple of drops of coconut oil and place over the sting area.
