Home remedies for bloody stool in toddlers



Patents are known to regularly check the color and texture of their baby's stool to ensure that it is normal and hence a bloody stool in toddlers is known to be a serious cause of concern among many parents. A natural remedy for this is to switch the medication to an alternate one and to also monitor the intake of foods with artificial food coloring.

One of the minor bloody stools causes in children is the child ingesting some blood which may be from a cracked nipple while breastfeeding from the mother. Sometimes red stool in children is also found because of being overfed breast milk. A natural remedy for this would be to check management procedures to control the oversupply of breast milk and to even use breast compressions that tend to increase the amount of fat the baby receives while being breastfed. In any case, if the stools continue to be bloody even after taking the necessary preventive measures, it is necessary to visit the doctor to prevent any serious complications.
