Home remedies for making body skin smooth, soft and fresh?



The skin is known to be the largest organ of the human body. In order for your skin to look beautiful on the outside it is important for you to look after the inside of your body. Your skin should get plenty of fresh air, water and a balanced diet. The right amount of vitamins and minerals as well as protection from the sun is important in order for it to stay healthy. You must regularly clean your skin because lack of skin care would lead to your skin looking cracked and inflamed.

Smooth, soft and fresh skin is what everyone desires and these are a few tips and home remedies that are made from ingredients which are easily available:

  • When cleaning your skin do not use a scrub too often as this will lead to acne and more skin problem. Before applying a skin cream just dampen the skin a little and then apply the cream. The moisture of the skin is retained by doing this.
  • Avoid using strong soaps that have very harsh chemical as they will dry your skin.
  • Exercise regularly as this will help tone your muscles hence preventing your skin from sagging.
  • There are plenty of homemade packs that will help you get smooth fresh looking skin. You could blend some sandal wood powder, rose water and milk till it forms a smooth paste. Apply this paste to your face and other parts especially covering all the scars, leave this on over night and wash it off in the morning.
  • In order to get rid of a tan and remove dead cells, rub half a lemon with some sugar granules all over your body. The lime takes away the tan and the sugar acts as a natural scrub.
  • Honey is also used in many home remedies as it has certain properties that make the skin glow and reduces wrinkles. In order to reduce wrinkles and get glowing smooth skin blend one egg white with some honey and apply this mixture all over. Leave it on till it dries and then wash it off.
  • Another remedy for smooth and supple skin you can try; mash some bananas and milk to form a paste, apply this paste on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off.

Most of these tips are very effective and don't have any side effects but it is always advisable to check if you are allergic to any of these ingredients before you use them.
