I have a whitish discharge from vagina which thickens sometimes. It is not smelly

Some amount of vaginal discharge is quite normal and there is nothing to worry about it. The glands inside the vagina produce some amount of fluid that needs to flow out regularly. These fluids act as natural cleanser to the vagina and help it remain healthy. It also helps the vagina maintain its normal acidic balance so that it can effectively fight against infections. Normal vaginal discharge also helps flush out the dead cells from inside the body and gives flexibility to the tissues. In normal vagina some amount of whitish discharge occurs and it should not be worried about. The vaginal discharge may appear whitish or cloudy and become yellowish upon drying. The color and constitution of the discharge may change according to your monthly menstrual cycle. But since you have not noticed any abnormal symptoms - like foul smell, excessively high discharge, itching and burning sensation - you probably need not worry. Also, dark circles in your eyes do not appear to be related to the vaginal discharges in any way. As long as your vaginal discharge is in small amounts and doesn't seem unmanageable, it is quite normal and you need not do anything special. However, just in case you need to be assured that everything is alright, you can consult a gynecologist and ask for special medical advice.

Leucorrhea, by definition, is a condition when the vaginal discharge is disturbed due to some infection. If you have leucorrhea, your vaginal discharge will increase significantly, the discharge will be thick and sticky, and the discharge will be foul-smelling. Alongside, you will also experience irritation and burning sensation in and around the vagina.

You can take some preventive measures to deal with your condition. Maintain proper hygiene of the genital area. Wash it properly when you have bath and wipe it dry with a clean towel afterwards. Change your under wears every day and never wear anything that is not completely dry. Moisture from wet clothes can get you some infection. Also, under wears should preferably be made of cotton as cotton clothes are best for the skin. Nylon and other synthetic material clothes are better avoided as they trap moisture and do not let the skin breathe properly.

Additionally, take some care to eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of water throughout the day. Eat green vegetables, fresh fruits, whole grains, cereals, and other nutritious food. Processed and ready-to-eat foods are better avoided. Also, do some daily exercise and try to cut down on stress.
