I have tonsilitis and I get acne anytime. If I take anything containing sugar the tonsils become inflamed anytime. I am aroused sexualy and also experience wet dreams. Do you really think this is tonsilitis since doctors have told me it is?

The tonsils are located at the back of the throat. tonsillitis is the condition where the tonsils get inflamed due to a viral or bacterial infection. Some people have particularly susceptible tonsils and often develop tonsillitis while others may be less prone to developing such infections. Tonsillitis usually causes a fever and sore throat to affect the patient. The diagnosis of tonsillitis may be done visually by looking through the mouth of the patient at the tonsils. These glands will appear inflamed and may have whitish pus on them as the infection is being fought. Bacterial tonsillitis could be treated with medication whereas viral tonsillitis is self curing.

A person suffering from tonsillitis could easily seek many remedies for tonsillitis that are available at home. Gargling with warm salt water is one of the effective home remedies for swollen tonsillitis. The reason for this is that salt water will kill some of the infection and the gargling action would wash some of the pus and fluid out of the throat. This will clear the tonsils of some amount of infection, allowing the body to effectively fight the problem. Natural remedies for tonsillitis include the consumption of warm teas and the consumption of honey. These may soothe the throat and reduce the symptoms of coughing.

The best way to cure tonsils problems is to go for a tonsillectomy which is a surgery to remove the tonsils. This will help to cure the problem for the long term although it is more expensive and painful than home remedies for tonsillitis. Most home remedies for tonsillitis seek to provide some comfort to the tonsils so that the healing process can take place without the unpleasant effects of tonsillitis which include coughing, gagging and a sore throat.

A tonsillolith is known as a tonsil stone. A tonsil stone is a whitish colored piece of matter that forms on the tonsils. The use of the tongue is one of the best natural remedies for tonsil stones. The tongue can be manipulated so that it touches the area and moves the stone out so that it can be spat out. The removal of tonsil stones by hand may cause a gag reflex to occur. This is why the tongue method is preferred. A large tonsil stone may cause discomfort and the feeling of improper swallowing which may cause a person to force a cough in order to remove the stone. Oral examination will help to detect if a stone is present so that it can be removed.

Tonsillitis is a medical condition in which the tonsils found in your throat are inflamed and become red and painful. This usually occurs in accompaniment of a cold, sore throat, cough, fever, headache and body ache. There is usually difficulty in swallowing when the tonsillar lymph glands get swollen and tender. Tonsillitis is caused by the presence of toxins in the body which have not been flushed out from the kidneys, bowels and skin or due to some other viral infection. While some kind of throat infections can be caused by oral sex and transfer of virus by way of genital fluids, there is no connection between sexual arousal and inflammation of the tonsils. If you have a chronic condition of tonsillitis you can consult a doctor for removal of the tonsil glands or resort to one of the following home remedies to treat the problem.
