Bottom of my right foot hurts and I also have pain in my ankle when i move around. Kindly Help!

You seem to have a variety of problems! The symptoms for the pain in the sole of your foot sound like those of a condition known as Plantar Fascia. Usually a person who is overweight or a pregnant woman or even a person suffering from Diabetes will experience the symptoms of Plantar Fascia. This can cause extreme pain in the area below the sole of the foot. You may notice that the pain is far more intense when you wake up. Trying to stand for long periods of time or even trying to exercise can also cause this pain to intensify. The only way to seek relief from the pain caused by Plantar Fascia is to massage it regularly. You will get relief from this. You can also try soaking your feet in hot water at the end of the day. This will definitely give you relief. Wearing high heeled shoes can aggravate the problem caused by Plantar Fascia. Use low heeled shoes wherever possible. You may also have to suspend your activities like running or jogging. However, you should ensure that you do some regular physical exercise since lack of exercise can cause you to gain weight.

The pain in your ankle could be caused by the Plantar Fascia. It could also be caused by some injury that you have sustained. You should give your ankle rest for a few days. Instead, you should heat some water, add some salt to it and soak your ankle. You can also use a cold compress on your ankle. Dip a cloth in cold water and tie this tightly around your ankle. If you are overweight, then this could be a possible reason for the pain in your ankle. You can cut down on fatty food items and try to lose weight. If the pain in your ankle does not subside, then it is advisable to visit a doctor.

For your cold you should drink an herbal infusion made of fresh ginger and honey. Grate a one inch piece of ginger and drop this into a cup of hot water. Boil this till the water is slightly reduced. Strain this and then stir in one teaspoon of honey. This can soothe your throat and help you breathe easier. Turmeric is also very effective in curing a cold. You can simple eat half a teaspoon of turmeric powder and wash it down with some warm water. If you find it difficult to do this, heat half a cup of milk and add half a teaspoon of turmeric to this. Drink this at bedtime and you will find your cold gone in a couple of days. Dress warmly and avoid eating any oily food. Stay away from ice creams and cold drinks. Sipping warm water also helps cure a cold. Soup and toast is a good option, so is soft rice, mashed well.
