What can I do for an ear ache that I have been having at least twice a month. Is it caused from sinus problems or what?

  • Grind a handful of the leaves of Holy Basil and extract its juice. Put 2 or 3 drops in each ear 2 times a day.
  • Boil 5 cloves of garlic in distilled water, mash them and mix a pinch of common salt. Now, wrap this in a cotton cloth and apply it to the affected ear. Do this 2 or 3 times daily or whenever pain aggravates.
  • Extract some garlic juice and pour a few drops in both the ears 2 or 3 times daily.
  • Put a few drops of Margosa (margosa) oil or mustard oil in each of your ears twice daily.
  • If you have developed earache due to altitude then chew a gum to help open the Eustachian tubes.
  • Apply a heating pad to your aching ears 3 to 4 times daily.
  • If you have earache due to swimmer's ear, then put some mineral oil before going into water and dry your ears properly after coming out of it.
  • You can also put a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in the affected ear.
  • Dripping a few drops of onion juice in the throbbing ear will provide relief.
  • Have an increased intake of vitamin C and zinc.
