I have a really bad burning sensation all over my body it feels like sunburn inside my skin. It is hurting me really bad. Please help.

In the summer months your skin often burns as a reaction to the heat. If you have been spending time out in the sun or if your skin is sensitive, then this burning could indicate sunburn. However if you have not been doing any of these things, and you continue to experience this burning sensation on your skin, then a visit to your doctor is essential.

Use a good sunscreen when you go out during the day. If this is not sufficient, then you should use a large umbrella to protect yourself from the sun. You should bathe in cool water just before you go to bed. You can apply a paste made of sandalwood powder and some water on your body. This will help to cool your body down.

When you experience the burning sensation, use an ice pack on your body. Dip a soft cloth in a bowl of milk and use this on the parts that burn. Do this twice or thrice. After that you can also use a towel dipped in cold water to give yourself a rub down. This will ease the burning sensation. You can also apply aloe vera juice to the affected parts. Any kind of sour cream can be applied on the areas that burn.
