Menstruation advice

There are numerous remedies within the confines of your home, rather the kitchen that are useful and invaluable in combating menstrual pain and delay.

Half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder freshly powdered and had with lemon juice works wonders in regularizing the periodic cycle. This juice must be taken every day for a period of 3 months. Incorporate a glass of carrot juice in your diet. The beneficial properties of carrots far outweigh any benefits that can be had from OTC products. Carrot juice taken on a daily basis for four months will yield effective results. The menstruation will gradually return to normalcy at the end of third month.

Another healthy addition in your diet is the sprinkling of sprouted fenugreek seeds in your salads or raw vegetables. Apart from stopping the delay in the cycle, fenugreek also brings down the sporadic pains associated with the periods. Sesame seeds also have similar properties as that of fenugreek sprouts. Consume half a teaspoon of sesame seeds daily to feel the difference.

Have plenty of citrus fruits before meals. Citrus fruits aids with the absorption of iron in your body. Since iron is greatly depleted during the menstrual days, foods rich in iron are a must during those uncomfortable days.
