I have very less flow in menses and that too only for only 2 days. Please Help.

Worry, sorrow, emotional problems, grief, womb malformation and any other illness can result in amenorrhea. Secondary complications caused by polycystic ovary are diabetes and cardiac problems, especially in post menopausal women. Bleeding less during menses occasionally is not an issue. Menstruation is a physiological process, by which the old uterine lining is shed, resulting in the replacement with a new one. Polycystic ovary syndrome is identified in every woman. Cysts occur in the ovaries, which are detected by ultrasound. Irregular menses causing polycystic ovary syndrome is also accompanied by hair loss, acne, excessive body hair and obesity. Anemia is one of the major contributing factors for less flow. Buckwheat is recommended, during heavy flow. Red meat, citrus fruits and dried apricots are preferred, due to their iron content. Fortified breads, cereals, liver, shell fish and legumes are taken. Amenorrhea or less bleeding during menses can be corrected by zinc supplements. Circulation is enhanced by ginger, fennel or mint tea. Take the guidance of a gynecologist.
