Premenstrual Syndrome and Numbness in Fingers

Premenstrual syndrome advice

I am unable to find a relation between numb fingers and PMS. But there are several other causes for numb fingers which may be useful information for you.Numb fingers may be caused by several different conditions which I am listing below:

  1. Nerve damage
  2. Diabetic neuropathy
  3. Cervical Spondylitis
  4. Alcoholic Neuropathy
  5. 5Peripheral Vascular Disease
  6. Lupus
  7. Pernicuous Anemia

This is not a complete list and you may not have any of the above unless you feel really sick even otherwise. You should consult with your doctor if numbness persists to rule out anything serious. Also consult your doctor if you are diabetic or have insulin resistance. There are some not so serious conditions that may also be causing the problem.

One of them being frostbite, the other being a problem caused by repetitive movements of the fingers called carpal tunnel syndrome. If you are on the computer a whole lot, or do a lot of work with your fingers such as knitting or embroidery, maybe this is your problem. The remedies for this are quite simple. Stop in between work and rest your fingers for a bit. Stretch them backwards and bend them forwards. Roatate your wrists and wiggle your fingers up and down. Try minimizing impact on a keyboard and finally consult your doctor if numbness persists.
