Advice on sinus problems and hoarse voice

Information on sinus

The symptoms of typical sinusitis are sneezing, a runny nose, or a blocked nose, and inflammation of sinus passages. All of these problems will usually go a long way toward blocking or affecting your voice box (larynx) and making you sound different from what you normally sound like. Some people end up sounding hoarse, some sound rusty and some just get deeper voices. Effective cures for improving your voice would involve unblocking your sinuses so you can breathe freely too. One of the best remedies for this is to steam your whole face with some Vicks vaporub or eucalyptus oil thrown into the water. This will clear your sinuses almost instantly. Do remember to remain in a warm environment after you do this, and allow your nose to run freely later. If you go from a steam to a cool environment, it will most likely worsen your problem. In order to loosen phlegm, you may also have hot tea with a few ground peppercorns, a small piece of cinnamon, a cardamom, some ginger, lemon grass and holy basil. This acts as a tonic and will instantly open up your voice so that you sound better almost instantly. It will also clear your sinuses. You can also suck on a cardamom for soothing your throat.
