Please bear with the patient and show him/her your ability to understand him as he/she is. Do not enter into a fight. Give lot of Vit B rich food and supplements to maintain serotonin levels.
Honey, Spinach, cucumbers, sprouts, olives etc. Sea foods are good for non vegetarians. Take St John wort dried and steeped in boiled water as tea. Exercise like jogging and swimming are very beneficial.
Deep breathing with slow and deep inhalations and exhalations for 10 minutes is very ideal for bipolar. Yog pranayam is worth.
