I wouldn’t use a tampon with a 9 year old. Please try using Teatree oil. I think that should work! Tea tree oil is suggested for use in treating vaginal yeast infections and many more ailments.

Please do not use a tampon with a 9 year old. Go to the health food store and buy some homeopathic suppositories for her for yeast infections and give her probiotics/acidophillus supplement 2 times a day for at least 3-4 weeks. Her diet must be free of sugar, fruit juices, cheese, pastries, bread, etc. Make sure she wears cotton underwear and loose clothing and baths daily.
