Home treatments for diverticular and gall bladder problems

I have both diverticular and gall bladder problems. Is there a correlation between the two on home treatment?

The colon (with diverticulitis) and the gall bladder share are part of the  digestive organs, so this may be one correlation.  Without knowing your specific gallbladder and colon issues, it is tough to guess causes.  However, both diverticulitis and gallstones can be helped from healthier food choices.  Both can benefit from an anti-inflammatory diet --lower saturated fats and higher complex carbohydrates, with lower glycemic index foods --and avoiding the most common foods which cause inflammation (wheat, corn, dairy, soy, tomatoes, potatoes, citrus, chocolate, peanut butter, etc.)  Liver supportive herbs and probiotics can really help regulate digestive function.  You might also consider having some food sensitivity testing to check your specific inflammatory foods.  http://www.countrydoc.com
